This Fall Green is the New Black in Handbags

Fall officially begins September 22 and is also referred to as
Autumnal Equinox

It is the summer's great last heat,
It is the fall's first chill:  They meet
~ Sarah Morgan Bryant Piatt

In many regions of North America, the landscape silently explodes with vibrant colors of red, yellow, and orange.

As leaves begin to drop off the trees so do we begin to shed our sandals and sundresses.

With each new season comes the advent of the choice of a new bag.

Can a new luxe bag punch up your fall favorites?

Take a look and see why this Fall green is the new black.

No matter which style you choose you'll instantly upgrade your look.

Which style bag do you favor?

  1. It's interesting...I was shopping on Monday looking for Fall wardrobe and as usual only noticed the brown/reddish/orange pieces. And I was thinking...there's gotta be more. So it feels like cosmic fate that I came across your article today. Green....I love it!
Thanks for sharing this Barbara <3

    1. You are very welcome Angela, the stars and planets aligned. ;) Yes, I am on the hunt for a green bag. Although I love the Kate Spade bag my wallet will scream at me. I'll probably settle for the Nine-West clutch. Thanks for stopping by and happy shopping.

    1. Inez, I know what you mean about the prices, but aren't they gorgeous. I tried to show bags in all price ranges.

  3. I used to have a green bag and I liked it very much. I think I need to buy another one in this colour, especially since it is "new black" for this fall.

  5. Great post and lovely selection! Funny you should mention green... the other day I was at Banana Republic and noticed this really nice green leather clutch. I believe they still have it on their site and stores, that's a keeper. From your selection I really love the Ralph Lauren Cross body bag! And next would be Ivanka Trump. I don't own anything from Ivanka's line, however lately I've noticed quite a few times I have admired (shoes/bags) and ended up finding out its from Ivanka's line. So my plan is to buy something from her line pretty soon!

    1. The more I look at it the more I like the Ivanka Trump bag. I'm not sure what bag I'll choose, but I do know it will be green.

  6. I am so bad about picking hand bags. I love my Franklin leather bag, backpack because it is very practical, I've had it for years and just started using it again. Yes, I think I could use some help. :-)

    1. I have been using the same red Louis Vuitton noe bag for over 2 years now. I purchased it at a thrift store for $25! And yes it's authentic. I LOVE it, but I think it's time for something new and...green.

  9. These are all great bags, but I'm searching for that elusive perfect bag - not sure what it is, but I'll know it when I find it. I do love the green though - I like wearing something a little different.

    1. Like you, I am still on the hunt for the elusive perfect bag as well. I cannot wait to find it. I usually always choose a black bag, but I think green will be a nice change.

    1. Thanks Delaney. Red has always been the only color other than black that I've used. I love the way the green handbag looks. Now I just have to commit to one of them.
