How wonderful, to have planted this tree and watch it grow and thrive!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe it. As a northern transplant I fell in love with magnolia trees immediately upon arriving in the south.
DeleteMMMM Magnolia blossoms are fantastic as well.
ReplyDeleteSending many good wishes to you and your beautiful tree.
When the flowers are blooming I have them all over the house. It smells like what I think a plantation house smelled like ages ago.
DeleteLovely photo-session. I like it when magnolia trees are in bloom, their flowers are so big and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree the flowers are vibrant and their scent is in the air while they are in full bloom.
DeleteAh.....there must always be a magnolia tree in paradise!

My sentiments exactly.
DeleteLOVE magnolias! I had one once but it died. I don't know why. I wanted to try again but they grow so slow I became impatient for shade. I am content now with Lakeview Jasmine trees. Your header is awesome. I want to go there and walk that path. I want to paint that scene. Is that a house at the end of the lane? I wanna live there! Thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love my header photo too. It seems to me to be the perfect place to settle in. My magnolia tree did take a while to get comfortable, but once it did it just took off, I think being near the septic tank helped a lot. ;)
