Motivation Monday #6

When I found this inspiring quote I realized it perfectly summed up how the past week turned out for me. 

Last Monday I talked about the cha-cha and taking forward steps only to sometimes have to take a backward step.

My lifestyle change is a lot like that.  I am making changes to benefit my health and well-being.  Clean eating along with a fitness plan.

I realize that with change comes obstacles.  And obstacles are only there to urge me to re-think my choices and decisions.  

Ultimately that's what my new way of living is teaching me.  How to handle obstacles on my journey.  No matter what they are.


Week 2 Summary

This week I only worked out 3 days.  No excuses, just being lazy.  

As for my eating plan, again it went extremely well.  Making healthy choices is becoming easier.  Planning is a big part of that.  

I find that for me I do better if I eat the same meals with little variance.  I know that for some repetition is boring, but it's consistency that works for me.  
On that note I'll share what I eat every morning for Breakfast.

2 hard boiled eggs with salt, pepper and Mrs. Dash.  I boil up a dozen on Sunday and have them in the fridge waiting for me every morning.

1/2 - 3/4 cup oatmeal sweetened with 1 packet of Splenda.

That's it.  Believe it or not this keeps me full for about 4 hours, which works out great since it's time for me to eat again.

Yes, I did make time for my 2 cheat meals along with cocktails.  

Although I didn't lose any weight this week, I have been true to myself about staying on track with my clean eating plan.  No cheating for my regular meals at all!!!
