Thank goodness I love to do the cha-cha
Could it be this simple?
Just a dance?
I am inspired by the simplicity of these few words.
With the above quote in mind, I am taking a step back to re-consider what Motivational Monday is becoming for me.
Since I began a lifestyle of clean eating and fitness I would like to devote one post per week to this endeavour.
So Motivation Monday will still be a place for me to set the mood for the week, but also be a way for me to talk about my lifestyle goals and its ups and downs...aka the cha-cha.
I'm still deciding on the new name.
Week 1 went great for me.
I was able to work out (at home) 4 days.
I followed my clean eating plan to the letter...I am so very proud of myself.
I indulged in my 2 weekend cheat meals, which I am allowing myself.
Based on A LOT of research (my own) I decided that long term success will only come if I know that I can still have my unclean, processed foods every once in awhile.
Overall I feel successful. The biggest surprise to me was the fact that I was not hungry. I had not one craving.
I'll share more about my food choices as the weeks progress.
I lost 4 pounds.
