Part 3 A New Day...A New Lifestyle...A Smaller Me

-1.2 lbs + -2.2 lbs = -3.4 lbs total

Here we are at Week 2.  This is flying for me.  My weight loss is happening slowly but quite easily.  I don't feel deprived and I am eating 3 meals and 1-2 snacks every day.

Changing the way I Eat

For Breakfast I alternate between a couple different entrees.

1.)  Fruit flavored Greek yogurt with 3 TBSP of Uncle Sam Original Whole Wheat & Flaxseed cereal.

2.)  1 whole egg and 3 egg white omelette with chopped veggies (whatever I have on hand) and 1 slice of fat free cheese melted on top, with 5 strawberries.

3)  1 Light Whole Wheat English muffin with 1 TBSP each of peanut butter and jelly.

I decided I needed 1 snack with built in portion control.  I had a coupon for Planter's Nut-trition Nut Mixes
and they were on sale at my grocery store, a win-win.  Yes, nuts do have a high caloric content but the benefits far outweigh the extra calories.

I completed 2 strength training workouts along with 2 6.5 mile bike rides.  I also did a very short yoga series this week.  I am getting closer to meeting the activity/movement goals I set for myself at the beginning of this lifestyle commitment. I thought I would be on target this week, but fell a bit short.  There is always Week 3.  I tell myself "baby steps".

As I did last week I used Verithin as directed.  It has become a habit for me now.  I admit I feel more energized and focused than I have in the past without using this product.  I LOVE the fact that I have no jittery feelings or heart palpitations.  This is a completely new experience for me.  I also believe that I have a comfortable feeling of well-being that allows me to stay on track and continue to make healthy choices for my smaller body.

Again I am thrilled with Week 2's progress.  I have lost 3.4 lbs in 2 weeks and I really don't feel deprived at all.  I do feel like I have FINALLY found a plan that will be beneficial to me for ever more.

I am looking forward to Week 3 with new recipes and crossed fingers for a full Activity/Movement week.

As with any weight loss/management product please consult with your physician to be sure you are able to take Verithin.  I have been cleared by my physician to take Verithin  as part of my healthy living program.

    1. Thanks Ellen, you know how much my weight goes up and down. My love quit smoking about 3 weeks ago, can you believe it? And we have more snacky stuff in the house so it is REALLY hard for me to be good. I'm trying...I have a 48th birthday coming up in a week and I have to get control of my cravings. Maybe once I get over this awful PMS'ing, which seems to last for days and days since I'm in peri-menopause, I'll settle in. xxx
