A Dip

Trifextra: Week Sixty-Eight

On to the weekend prompt.  This weekend we are asking for exactly 33 words, 30 of your own and three of the following:

topple     paradigm     underneath     nerve     honey     loop

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A Dip
Before I lose my nerve,
fingers crossed,
I smile shyly,
"Honey, let's climb underneath the old wood bridge,
strip off our clothes,
jump in the river and
frolic and play like otters do.
  1. Wow... nothing's better than that. Love the frolic like otters. Otters are fun, I have read somewhere that they are one of the few animals that seems to do things just because it's fun.
  4. A really lovely parallel you've drawn in this piece. I'm reminded of the image of the otters swimming in the water, holding hands/paws. :))
    1. Yay, I love otters. I have fond memories of them from the local zoo where I grew up. They had a large wonderful play area. I remember them sliding down the water slide...so much fun and so many smiles.
